Dear community, had someone compiled the GD2 library under Arduino IDE on ARM (RaspberryPi, Cubieboard or so)? Thanks Rolftest99

I've used it on Teensy 3.1 with no issues, but I don't think that'd be much help to you, unfortunately.

Hi, I've managed to get the the GD2 lib and the "hello world" example built for the raspberryPI. The code still needs some more work I haven't tried it yet, should get to it this weekend, but you're welcome to give it a try. You'll need to connect the GD2 as SPI dev 0. Some notes: I've attached a tar ball, containing the modified source files. It's designed to built as a cross compile for the Rpi. It's Cmake based. You'll need to install the RPi tools from github.com/raspberrypi/tools. Then create the following env vars (in ~/.profile for ex): export RPI_ROOT=$HOME/rpi/tools/arm-bcm2708/gcc-linaro-arm-linux-gnueabihf-raspbian export PATH=$PATH:$AVR_PREFIX/bin:$RPI_ROOT/bin
Once you've untar'd the above. to the following in the .../src/ dir mkdir rpi_bld cd rpi_bld cmake -DCMAKE_TOOLCHAIN_FILE=../toolchain-rpi.cmake .. make
The helloword exe with be GameDuino2/examples/1.Basics/helloworld/helloworld
Hopefully, the above plus looking at the cmake files should help you get this working. Once I get it working I'll produce some better notes. Attachments:gd2.tar.bz (110.72 KB)

Hello, I'm interested in your work. There is better support in current GD2 release for RPi?
Regards!
