Problem with cmd_text command

Hi guys.

I want to flash the entire ABC in the eve.
I tried to write:

char txt = 'A';
GD.cmd_text(240, 136, 31, OPT_CENTER, &txt);

txt=txt+1;

It works but i get a white square next to the letter. Do you know how to delete it?

Right, so cmd_text() is expecting to see a C string, and C strings end with a 0-byte.

So instead you can do:


char txt[2] = {'A', 0};
GD.cmd_text(240, 136, 31, OPT_CENTER, txt);

txt[0] = txt[0] + 1;
