i am trying to draw something on the screen using an array to store points and then link them together with the line tool to create a sort of graph.
problem is, as i add other parts to the program i find that the screen is completely blank after upload and the only thing i can do is to make the array smaller and then it works. this array has been getting smaller and smaller until it can only contain 20 points, which is far too little.
there is no images at all on the screen, everything on the screen is done with the line tool or point tool.

This sounds more of an Arduino issue, so perhaps the Arduino forums would be able to help more.
The Arduino only has 2K of RAM, so it is quite easy to run out. One thing to note is that the strings in your code take up RAM space. So eliminating/reducing the amount of static text in your program can free up some RAM space.
Thank you very much for your help. and you were totally right it was an arduino issue. basically after uploading the arduino sometimes would not fully reset leaving the screen on but blank. but after a couple of power cycles it would work again. sorry for not checking this before posting.
