Hi, I have been using the Dazzler GD3X since 2018 on my CNC converted mill, which is still in and working well with the Gameduino. I since purchased 2 other Gameduino 3's for use in another project and to have on a test bed to program the CNC display in the house. Unfortunately both of these newer ones have failed, the first of which died while on the prototyping breadboard, where I thought I may have connected something up wrong. The other one that I have been using for my second test CNC display has given up the ghost too with the same symptoms, both the regulators on board have 1.2V and 3.3V from the 5V supply, but after that there is not much else I can check. My concern is that my CNC display that is in use a fair amount is in and working, where I don't want to disturb it, although I will be taking the mill to the NEC Birmingham for the Makers Central event in May this year (2023). I don't want this to fail during the show or any time before or after, so my question is... Are these devices still being supported and where would I be able to source another couple (there really isn't anything like it on the market that I can find)? I saw on the Cool Components website that the Gameduino Shield was discontinued from the manufacturer, although the 3.3v module still looked to be in stock, will these also be discontinued in future? Also, is there any way to determine if the AMD Spartan 6 chip or BT81 video engine has gone specifically? Thank you. Kind regards, Neil. P.S. Here is the Gameduino 3 display in action on my machine at the 2022 Event, while talking to Ivan Miranda and Makergeek :-D
