Hi all,
I'm looking at the Dazzler specs, trying to decide if this is the right device for me. The Dazzler supports a resolution of 1280x720 and 16-bit pixel formats such as RGB565. However, with 1MByte of video memory, there's not enough room for a single frame buffer of 1280x720x16bit. So, am I correct in thinking that this device can't display a 1280x720 JPEG background image at 16-bit resolution? Or does it have some kind of pipeline so that the JPEG can stay in memory in compressed form? i.e. the image never exists fullly 'exploded' in a actual framebuffer?
Thanks for any help/insight.
Ruben.
