Great job anthonysavatarJames with that instructions the hanging continues byte GDClass::load(const char *filename, void (*progress)(long, long)) { #ifdef USE_SDFAT GD.__end(); Reader r; File file; if(!file.open(filename, O_READ)) { byte buf[512]; int readsize; while ((readsize = file.read(buf, 512)) > 0) { readsize = (readsize + 3) & ~3; // force 32-bit alignment
GD.resume(); if (progress) (*progress)(r.offset, r.size); GD.copyram(buf, readsize); GDTR.stop(); } GD.resume(); return 1; } GD.resume(); return 0;
Version for Riverdi´s TFT
PD: anthonysavatar; do you have an example to load jpg and assets with your improvements with the SdFat lib?

Hi James,
Thx for the catch! I should have mentioned I'm using the built in sdcard reader on the Teensy 3.6 which is on an SDIO bus. So the FT810 is ok to have the SPI bus all to itself. I'll add the GD.resume and GD.__end calls back in and a #define option to disable them if using a separate card reader.
I should get some more time next week to try fixing the Avi playback. Still need to test/update sound loading as well.

Hi Anthony, to play audio from AVI file and I wrote how to modify the library with the option OPT_SOUND. This will be the link about modifying and playing audio from AVI; gameduino2.proboards.com/thread/401/howto-gameduino-playback-avi-sound
