Basic idea is to provide extra "front panel" functions for these synthesizers that are not available on the synth's front panel. Due to cost or space limits, certain useful functionality is left off (eg: on the EG-101, there is not way to set the reverb or chorus type). Usually you can set these parameters via MIDI, so the idea here is to connect the Gameduino2 to the EG-101 via MIDI (over software serial) and provide a touch interface to set reverb/chorus/etc. Attachments:

Hi jum,
Great project! I've just got a Gameduino 2 and would like to know how you coded your button menu in your project. I need to do something similar so if you're willing to share your code that would be awesome!
