Hello guys, I have a big problem, I want to use the Gameduino2 in Portrait mode, not in Landscape mode. How can I tilt the text by 90 degrees? I searched so long for it but I can´t find something. Please help me.

The Gameduino2 hardware (a FT800 GPU) does have a "rotate" control but it only rotates the screen by 180 degrees.
So to get portrait mode you must draw everything sideways in software. This is possible, but quite fiddly. For example, none of the built-in widgets can be used. What kind of display did you have in mind?

Hello, thaks a lot for your reply!
I want to use the original display in portrait mode like an iPhone. It will be an controller for an beverage system. The problem is that it has to fit in a housing and this only works in portrait mode.
I rarely need widgets but there is hopefully a way to get them working in portrait mode too. Can you please tell me how to draw text sideways? I can´t figure it out.
Thank you!

If you have only one screen, then one solution could be just to draw the screen as a high-quality JPG. The GD2 loads the screen and set up buttons on top.
This works in portrait mode too - you just draw the screen sideways.
The hard part about portrait mode is doing the text. You have to use rotated bitmaps, and the transform is quite fiddly.
If you can draw the 272x480 screen, and post it here, I'd be happy to hack up some driver code.
