Hi,
I wonder if it is possible to use 32-bit assets. So 8 bits for blue, 8 for red, 8 for green and 8 for alpha.

Not directly - the hardware does not have an RGB32 bitmap format.
I find that ASTC bitmaps at maximum quality (8 bits per pixel) work very well. They are very close to RGB32 in quality. BT815 onwards (in Gameduino 3X) support ASTC bitmap formats.

James,
I love the Gameduino products and your work ! I just ordered another 4 Dazzlers (already have 2) but I have the following issue:
The GD3Asset converter does not want to convert to ASTC_6X6 running on Windows 10. The following works fine for RGB332 but pukes on ASTC_6x6 That temp file must be being created by GD3Asset because it's gone when the process dies.
Can you please fix the converter? PLEASE !!!

HI HAVE IT!! I found how to do it. You have to make a small modification in the library so that it can load non-compressed assets, then use bridgtek's asset converter directly. After that you can use any ASTC format. I hope to have the time to share this with you as soon as possible.

Any progress in this regard?. It would be a very good option to handle images in another type of format
