Hello, After having tested the Gameduino 3 I can say it's a good product but not reliable when using an SD card. Even with a working SD, at any moment, from seconds to hours the screen can freeze (even if it not used by the code). So, I will not use it, but I could not play videos... That's also strange that approaching fingers from pin headers make the screen flickering. SPI seems very sensible. It's a shame. Hope Gameduino 4 could read all SD without freezing the screen. And with a better quality sound. You can do it... I wait for it

Hi Elek,
The problem with SD cards is that not all of them properly support SPI mode. Specifically, some seem to respond to SPI commands when not selected. We do test Gameduino 3X with our microSD cards, running regression tests for days. We don't see these issues.
So yes, Gameduino 2, 3 and 3X can all run forever with microSD. This is very thoroughly tested, but of course you may have a bad Gameduino, microSD, or microcontroller.
Not sure about flickering (I assume you meant "sensitive" not "sensible"). Grounding issue, or an Arduino that cannot supply enough current for the backlight?
Sounds like maybe a pin is lose, either on the Gameduino side or the Arduino, or maybe a power issue is causing SPI problems?
