Hi,
I'm just wondering is it possible to have a button behind a bitmap image. When i place a bitmap over a button the button doesnt respond to touch. It seems like the bitmap is in the way. Can the bitmap image be made touch transparent?I assume it can because of the demo games like frogger and chess. How do i do this?
Thanks

Hi,
So it seems to be working now. Its actually a very simple fix. You just had to tag the bitmap by saying,
LOAD_ASSETS(); GD.BEGIN(BITMAPS); GD.Tag(MY_BUTTON); GD.Vertex2ii(100,100);
And i have kept the original tag on the button behind the bitmap so both the button and the bitmap are responding to the same button press.

Right,
This works. You can also do:
GD.Tag(MY_BUTTON); GD.cmd_button(100, 100, ...); GD.BEGIN(BITMAPS); GD.Vertex2ii(100,100);
This means that every pixel touched by the button responds to tag MY_BUTTON.
