I was thinking of using the atmega2561* as a 8 bit retro type computer.
The Idea behind it is that it would load programs/images from the sd card and it would
use that program (in binary, assembler, or even arduino .ino) to do what the user wanted.
The main screen/sdcard/audio would be the gameduino3, seeing as it has a much better everything.
I am also looking for anyone that is willing to help, this is a big project and I am not the best at coding sometimes
but I know my way around most things and can learn anything new that is needed.
I am also not the best at electronics, As in I do not have a collage degree in electronics ( I am a teenager ) but i am willing to learn
any help is much appreciated
* - the microcontroller may change to be more powerful in the future to something like a arm or even risc 5 device
or, if we can use it, something with wifi like a esp32
