Today received my GD3 running some test. While running the example "sprite" the screen is flickering. Sometimes I see some white blocks. Have make a movie from it and attached to this tread. Have running it with a separate power supply (2A) Suggestions? GD3.zip (881.48 KB)

Thanks I have seen you have na external power supply! But I think that is not needed for the 4.3" Gameduino-3 I have measured the current and this is 350 mA. Found this for the mega:
The schematic shows a NCP1117ST50T3G. The datasheet shows 1500mA (typical).
Thus I think this should be sufficient to draw the GD3, without flickering

powersoft yes GD3 takes around 350 mA Looking at the white blocks on the video, I don't think that is a power issue. The backlight looks steady. The white flashes look like the sprite drawing is getting messed up. I can think of a couple of causes. (1) SPI trouble with the Mega - do you have another Arduino you can test it with? (2) GPU hardware fault. I can do an exchange if this is the case. Email me at jamesb@excamera.com and we can send a replacement out.
