Hello,
do I have to use 3.3 Volt or 5 Volt for the gameduino 2?

It uses 5-7v on its input: excamera.com/sphinx/gameduino2/#hardwareGameduino 2 powers everything off this single input: - a 3.3V regulator which powers the GPU, LCD and level shifter
- another smaller regulator which powers the audio amplifier
- the LED backlight driver, which consumes most of the power

I have an Intel Galileo Board and connected it to the Gameduino 2. But the screen of the Gameduino 2 does not turn on, when I turn on the Galileo (on both, 3.3V and 5V settings). Does I have to upload a program to the Galileo before the screen is powered up? What I am doing wrong?

Yes, there is an initialization sequence to turn the screen on. It is called as part of the GD.begin() method at startup.
