Hi, I've tested the gameduino2. If works without problems ! However, I'm not very impressed by the quality of the LCD screen when it comes to viewing angle.
Have you considered using another LCD screen ?

Yes, I did test multiple screens. They all have a similar view angle - 90 degrees looks OK (deep blacks, bright whites, clear grays) and so does looking at the screen from "below."
However from "above" the picture is visible but all gray tones become black; not good. There is a register that flips the screen upside-down, which gives some more options for mounting the screen:
GD.wr(REG_ROTATE, 0);

In my search for LCD screens with good quality I found a 3.5" IPS display ( ref. blog entry). Seems to have pretty good viewing angle. My goal is to perform a test with 4-5 different LCDs with same graphics, take some pictures from different angles and post them (as started here).
