I just spent the better part of the last day trying to get my microSD card slot to work. Finally, after not getting any sense out of a 16GB SD card, I took one of my older 2GB cards and all of a sudden everything worked out of the box.
Is there a maximum size for the SD card for the Gameduino2 to handle the disk? Is it 4GB (which is the limit for FAT16)?
I couldn't find a detailed tutorial or documentation page on these details of the microSD card slot, so here's some of my lessons learned:
* Don't use an SD card that is too large * Format the SD card as FAT32 * Put the contents of the SD card ZIP file into the "sdcard" directory on your SD card, not in the root directory of the SD card.
Thank you,
Anthony Liekens,-

I don't think there is a maximum size as I had a 16gb work on mine. But there is an issue with sd cards in general. Some work where others don't.
James mentioned some cards dont release cs like they're meant to and this brakes communications...
This might be what your experiencing.
Also I think I read some cards simply don't work on the shorthand spi protocol that embedded stuff uses them with and only work on the full sd card pin out...
So yes I don't think there's a limit. However I couldn't think why you would want a large card anyway in the gd. Would be a bit of a waste considering even the most largest of projects only take up a few megabytes of storage.
