The Gameduino 2 display actually needs to get a command from the Arduino to boot, so on power up it stays dark until the Arduino tells it to wake up. For the Mega, minimal hookup is GND, +5V and the 5 SPI signals (MOSI, MISO, SCK, GPU_SEL, SD_SEL). excamera.com/sphinx/gameduino2/faq.htmlWith these hooked up, put a microSD card in the Gameduino 2's slot, and load the sketch "helloworld" on to the Mega. The Gameduino 2 should come to life.

You can turn off SDcard handling by passing ~GD_STORAGE to GD.begin, so "helloworld" is: #include <EEPROM.h> #include <SPI.h> #include <GD2.h>
void setup() { GD.begin(~GD_STORAGE); }
void loop() { GD.ClearColorRGB(0x103000); GD.Clear(); GD.cmd_text(240, 136, 31, OPT_CENTER, "Hello world"); GD.swap(); }
With this sketch loaded, the display should show this:

I want to switch from UNO to MEGA2560 but I can't get the wiring right.
From GD2 to Mega >> 5V >> 5V GND >> GND GND >> GND VIN >> VIN
SCK >> 52 MISO >> 50 MOSI >> 51 GDsel>> 53 ? SDsel>> 9 ??
