The GD2 is designed to be used with the Raspberry Pi?

Hello. The GD2 library seems to include support to compile in raspberry pi linux C++ environment with spidev.

This is a proof of concept or the GD2 is really prepared for the RPi?

There is any reason for I don't find documented this feature? Can be greatly useful for GD2 users to expand their possibilities!
