Has anyone else experienced trouble with the GD2 related to jumper length?
I have mine connected via jumpers and breadboard to an Arduino UNO. If my jumpers get longer than about 5" I lose contact with the GD2??
I would like to solve this problem so I can incorporate a longer breakout cable into my project...

I haven't tried longer than 5". With longer jumpers, it is likely that SPI speed will be an issue - by default it is 8MHz on the Arduino, rather fast for long wires. Instead setting the speed (after bootup) to something slower - so you might have: GD.begin(); SPI.setClockDivider(SPI_CLOCK_DIV128); to slow the clock way down. If that helps will might be worth experimenting to see how fast the cable can run. List of SPI speed valuesThis is the driver code to set the speed.

I'm using the Gameduino in my car in an external case and the cable between the Display and the Arduino is around 80cm long, divided by a DSub Plug. No problems since 8 months....including usage of the SD-Port all the time.
