I ordered this device with Nightstrike pre-installed through Kickstarter several months back. I am finally getting an opportunity to check it out and the levels for Nightstrike seem to advance randomly and often rapidly. I was wondering if this was intended as an unfinished demo or possibly hardware related? Re-seating both the Gameduino 2 board and the SD card made no difference and nothing seems to be shorting underneath. Before delving into the code or trying different hardware, I wanted to check in here to see if anyone else has experienced this.
This device is brilliant work by they way as was the first model and I can't wait to develop with it.

Hmm, hard to see how this could be happening - the level advance is on a software timer. But it is a bit arbitary - there is no warning, it just goes to the next level. The flash original is here. www.y8.com/games/night_strikeThe early levels are about 15 seconds long, IIRC. One thing to try is the "selftest" sketch - under "4.Utilities". It gives the hardware a thorough checkout.

The "selftest" sketch ran just fine. I suspected it would when you mentioned the advance was on a software timer of 15 seconds which when going back through it, feels about right. What gave me pause to begin with was on at least two occasions, a level began, I fired off one missile and as it hit the heli, the game advanced to the next level. Of course, it doesn't happen like clockwork but I recall at least those two occasions where it just seemed unnaturally quick. I just didn't want to go chasing ghosts only to find out later, it was running as expected. I think for the sake of playing, I'll throw up some debugging information on the game screen and tinker a bit with it. Thanks for the reply.
