Thanks for the advice. This is my first GD3 program. I started with one point for every column but square waves needed a vertical line, so I tried drawing lines when the y value was discontinuous , which mainly worked, but occasionally gave me the coprocessor error. So I replaced the lines with points and noticed that the problem occurred when I was getting chaotic input and lots of points were being drawn.

I think if you are drawing the points in order, then changing from
GD.Begin(POINTS); to
GD.Begin(LINE_STRIP); might be better?
