Gameduino 2 directly connected with a Arduino MEGA. Input Voltage 9V with a power connector. When I plug in the power connector nothing happens.
The display starts only when the reset button on the arduino board is pressed. Then everything works fine (touch ok, serial connection to a raspi works fine).
Can somebodey help my? What do I have to change so that the GD2 works when I switch the power on?

Okay, I've found myself a workaround. When I define a watchtog timer (1 Second), the Watchdog reset activates the display. See also: appsaloon.be/blog/arduino-watchdog-timer/But why do I need this workaround. Propably it has to do with the SD card because the selftest stops there. I tried several cards (intenso, Kingston). Same error.

I had an issue with the display not loading until I pinched of the spi wires with my fingers, I changed the GD.begin() to GD.begin(3) and now it loads up automatically.
